What is a BLOG? Well, a blog is actually a Web Log and was originally used by businesses. The name got
shortened to "blog" and it is used now as a place to log entries that have to do with anything and everything. I (
Merced Wright) do not know how to create a website, but I do think that I can handle something simple like a blog. What I am going to do is post pictures and comments from church events, and highlight the ministries at our church. I might also post small bits of information regarding upcoming church events.
I think that it is fun and important for our church to be somehow a part of the World Wide Web and this is a small way we can be "connected." This might also serve as a reference to people who may be interested in or have visited our church to see what we are all about, but it will mainly be for those of us who attend the church.
A few things
to remember as you view this site. First, most of the comments and posts on this blog will be written by me, in first person, so of course my personal opinions and interests are going to come through, but I will always try to be objective. Second, I am not the best at spelling and grammar, so if you see any mistakes from time to time please just try to ignore them and I will try my best not to make them:)

This picture was taken right before we started our hike in Mt. Lassen State Park. I love how we all look so bright eyed and ready for our hike, I really wish I would have taken a pictue of us all after the hike. It really was a very enjoyabe hike though, not very hard at all. Hopefully we will go again next year and I will try not forget my bug spray. I counted 21 bug bites after this hike!
